Haha

I, alas, am guilty of that which you speak. Sure I am in school, but no excuse, I think I have blogged a total of thrice this year. Amandla! Free me from the prison of my lazy self. And if not, dear God, please let me marry a ballah so I can write for free. Amen.

Is it the case of all good things must come to an end? I no longer hold the same passion for blogging I had when I first started but I'm still reading and posting about random happenings once in a while. Eventually I'll stop. When? who knows.

Wow, I see you have some recent posts Panama. I've been missing out! Anyway, on this post, I think like most things in life, blogging probably ebbs and flows...which is why I think your last hiatus was on-point. You didn't completely shut down, just took a breather til you found something that made you "hungry" again. Nothing at all wrong with that. And btw, the pressure you speak of that comes along with blogging regularly is precisely why I never started a public blog, even though I'm very opinionated and have a million things to say, lol. But just being pressured to "perform" each time, everyday, um, that's just pressure I don't need...but that's me. You're Panama! No excuses. (JK) :)

Yeah. I know exactly what you mean.

I quit blogging a few months ago but I felt an itch to come back. I recently made a blogger account and I'm keeping it minimal. I realized today when I was putting in the links that I still don't read or write with any enthusiasm, but I'm putting those links in because they're worth learning from. They're very fun, intelligent blogs, but I rarely visit.

then I stopped writing again. I used to blog about personal shit, but now I don't feel comfortable doing that anymore. I don't know what else to write about.

I liked this.

yeah, I feel you. My now defunct site holds some good sh*t in my archives.

I think I reached the point where I didn't have other outlets, so the website let me express myself but when things happened that I have to marinate, figure out, or actually work on, I felt less inclined to put it on the www. Weird.

I suppose the novelty wears off like any other new toy/medium and you have to figure out if you really want to invest energy, time into something, assuming it brings you the same satisfaction that it once did, which may be unlikely.

Oh and twitter is where it's at now, totally addicting.

What's microblogging?

And anyway I don't know about you, but everyday I notice some ish worth writing about. Even though it might be boring and hackneyed to me, it can be new and exciting for other people.

And I know you know this n*gga personally, so tell Dame to get his ass in gear and atleast write a good bye post. I mean, I'm glad his disappearance opened up a lane for plenty of newer bloggers like myself, but I'm literally stuck just reading the people on my blog roll.

And myself.

COME BACK DAME!
