What cracked me up most about that video is how well they captured the mannerisms and video staples of the 90's R&B cats. The baskeball hoop was classic. The beat is dope too! The Jeezy thing? Hip-Hop is indeed dead. The passing of James Brown seems real symbolic coming at a time like this. I know it's a coincidence, but it seems eerie when you think about all the early Hip-Hop music built offa his stuff. Rest in peace to both of them. Its not a good as it was a few years ago but the writing is still great. I assumed that with Nas' proclamation of Hip-Hop being dead, he would attempt some type of rebirth or ressurection of some sort with the album. I didnt for once second think that he would make an attempt to add person proof to his theory. I didnt think that he would make his work of art exhibit A of his indictment. Pure brilliance I tell you. That Nas is always one step ahead of the game. I guess Jezzy has replaced Jim Jones on your most hated list hunh? People been sleepin on SNL. I couldn't take it for more than 45 seconds. i was dying, just feelin my brain cells put themselves out of misery from havin to listen and compute what that fool was talkin about.
