I would say that UnCut got cancelled because BET has a new CEO who is a woman. That’s also the reason why we now have BETJ. This lady is trying to class things up a bit, I think, or at least get rid of the raunchier bits of BET.

Other than that…I am clueless about the Uncut BET… saw it once on a fluke and it must be the same videos all the time because it was the Ludacris one.
As for BET…I’m like you…I have no reason to go to that channel.

Joker the Bailbondsman has been a personal hero of mine for several years now. I mean, he truly is holding it down for the pimps, playas and hustles in the colder climes. Put a snow plow in a video? Phuck Yeah, Dog!

I also enjoyed the video…the name and title escapes me…but ahh, the delightful chorus,

‘Because the titties are big (the titties are big)
and the ass is fat (the ass is fat)
I wouldn’t have it any other way, girl…
Cause I like it like that.’

That video brought joy to my whole family.

But perhaps, we are on the verge of change, a paradigm shift, if you will. Perhaps, like Brick said, we, as a black community, are getting tired of music videos featuring naught but scantily clad, booty-licious girls grinding to the music.

I said that with a straight face too…

Maybe, though, this is the first, small wave, of the incoming tide that changes the face of black entertainment forever…

I can dream…

And I think TVOne sucks too. I haven’t seen the Black Family Channel, hell I didn’t even know it existed until the big hoopla with Co-Retta, so I’ll reserve judgement.
