ENFJ-- amazing. I WAS feeling all special, but what are the chances that TWO of your readers have a personality type that is found in only 2-3% of the population? There's another interesting breakdown at

http://www.teamtechnology.co.uk/mb-types/enfj.htm

I must say, it suits me to a T. Especially the part about seeking to understand others and heightened ability to gain insight into their personality and motivation. That and the part about talking to much and assumming I know the needs of others.

hmm... I never posted my results, which I'm sure everyone is CLAMORING to know... ROFLMAO

Your Type is
ENFJ

Extroverted Intuitive Feeling Judging
Strength of the preferences %

Extroverted 44%
Intuitive 12%
Feeling 38%
Judging 22%

moderately expressed extrovert
slightly expressed intuitive personality
moderately expressed feeling personality
slightly expressed judging personality

I'm a Teacher Idealist, like Oprah, Martin Luther the King, Gorbachev and the Pope... *sigh* it's not easy to be a leader...

AND - I hate to break it to you - but I too make up only 2-3% of the population... I'se special.
Please see below:

The Teachers are found in no more than 2 or 3 percent of the population.

But, I have to say... while I agree with the special, leader part... this personality assessment doesn't really seem to capture me... I'm very intuitive (when I'm not being self-centered LOL) and I'm soooo not judgmental. Hmm... but I AM a bit of a snob. Can you be a non-judgmental snob?

Please advise.

Signed,
X in Atlanta.

ENFP!

The reason (I think) that ENFPs are few, and yet they feel like more than 3% is because some of the other types would never take a Jung or MBTI test. Especially people with "S" instead if "N," at least that's how it appeared when my friend offered to do this test for our academic colleagues.

I'm INFJ.

Interestingly enough, I am the Counselor Idealist (and I'm a counselor in real life). This paragraph pretty much sums me up to a T:

Counselors can be hard to get to know. They have an unusually rich inner life, but they are reserved and tend not to share their reactions except with those they trust. With their loved ones, certainly, Counselors are not reluctant to express their feelings, their face lighting up with the positive emotions, but darkening like a thunderhead with the negative. Indeed, because of their strong ability to take into themselves the feelings of others, Counselors can be hurt rather easily by those around them, which, perhaps, is one reason why they tend to be private people, mutely withdrawing from human contact. At the same time, friends who have known a Counselor for years may find sides emerging which come as a surprise. Not that they are inconsistent; Counselors value their integrity a great deal, but they have intricately woven, mysterious personalities which sometimes puzzle even them.
