That was a great ‘Family Guy’ episode when Brian is in the banana suit and does the peanut butter jelly. It was classic shit. That is my favorite show on tv. Not hip to the BOON yet.

Have you ever noticed that the people who really love the Boondocks TV show, I mean the ones who watch it religiously every week, are the same ones who NEVER read the comic strip? To me, it seems as though Aaron said his point in writing is cause, “I know yall don’t read the paper!” Is it me, or do the two things look for two extremely different audiences. I have yet to see any political satire on the tv show, just nigga jokes. Plus like you said, the show is just oversaturated with grandad and not enough riley. What happened to those innocent moments on the hills with Riley and Caesar talking about life? What happened to Riley sitting on the couch watching tv?
Yeah I watch the show, but only under the hopes that it will get better. Still my preference is just to read it on blackamericaweb.com everyday.

Im 100% with you Panama on this post. There are episodes that are very funny, others are not and I have found myself cleaning or doing something miscellaneous around the house while the not so funny episodes were on. However, Sundays show..I have to say MLK’s speech had me in tears and it was true to the T. I also think Aaron is stealing your stuff, the similiarity is uncanny.

and yes people, Oprah is evil…

I, for one, was on the floor when MLK Jr. rashed on the niggas at the Freedom “party”.

As for the show in its entirety, I watch it all the time although i am 100% certain that they don’t give Negroes nielsen boxes so my ratings point doesn’t count. There is always something in the show that makes me pause and think and you are quite right about Riley being the funniest character.

Regina King voicing both characters is my biggest complaint about the show.

I pretty much agree with you about Boondocks. It is funny when it’s funny…but when it’s not…meh. Kind of like The Simpsons.

Interesting I’ve heard mixed reviews myself and although I have it Tivo’d as a season pass I’ve only watched one episode. The Boondocks Vs. L&O unfortunately L&O has won every time.
