Good review. However I must say that “Touch the Sky” is my offical “walkintotheclublookingflyasfuck” song of the year. I’ll have to hire a DJ to follow me around and throw that on everytime I step foot in a public place.

i guess this is the only place to vent, but…ALLHIPHOP gave Kanyeezie 4.5 STARS!? not that i ever believed in their review system, but after listening to the album i’m wondering if we listened to the same album?

well, lemme be mo’ specific…the person who reviewed Kanye’s album for ALLHIPHOP gave it 4.5 STARS. i don’t think we heard the same album.

somebody needs to come out wif da ’05-’06 remix of “DON’T BELIEVE THE HYPE”.

Nice review Panama. I’ll have to compare notes when I get to hear the whole album. So far, the tracks I’ve heard don’t impress me that much. Love Diamonds from Sierra Leona (as you see on R&W) but, honestly how do you go from talking about people dying in Africa to suring up Rocafella? The flow is nonsensical at best… but like with most Kanye stuff, the track is hot. Somehow, I have a feeling I’ll agree with your album assessment

Love ya blog man. Although I disagree with your feelings on “We Major” (that might be the best song on the album, well up until “Can I talk my shit…”)you gave a great review of the album. I’m glad you gave an honest review unlike some chumps who are saying its a classic and the other chumps who are saying its garbage.

Why isn’t Joe Budden on the album?
